About Sweeney's
Sweeney’s at Scenic Hills is a large Function and Entertainment venue set amongst the bushland hills of Denham Court in Sydney’s Greater Southwest , with easy access off the M5 motorway.
The refreshing and relaxed atmosphere of Sweeney’s makes an ideal setting for any special occasion. Our magnificent venue is themed in an Australian country style, boasting several areas ideal for hosting any type of function or event, be it large or small and intimate.
• The "Patrick Room" caters for up to 500 guests and has many facilities including a loft area, large stage, dance floor, full lighting and sound production equipment, large cinema screen and multi-media projector , fully licensed bar, dining and catering facilities.
• The "Courtyard Restaurant" caters for up to 200 guests and offers dining, dance floor, licensed bar and smoking area. The Courtyard Restaurant is a covered function room with opening roller screen on the exterior for fabulous views of the picturesque hills and picnic grounds.
• The "June Theatre" located at the base of the picnic grounds can be used for a multitude of events or functions from 40 to 2000 guests. This area has staged some fantastic events such as The Horse display themed “The Man From Snowy River”, “Bullistic Rodeo”, “The Blues Festivals”, “Carols by Candlelight”, Sporting Presentations and Corporate Social Family Days.
• The "Lakeside Balcony" caters for 80 guests and boasts the calming views of the adjacent duck ponds.
• The "Garden Balcony" caters for 80 guests and is situated at the front of the main building with glorious views of the stunning gardens.
Sweeney’s at Scenic Hills is the perfect location for any event or special occasion. Situated on the same property is Scenic Hills Riding Ranch, where we have hundreds of acres of beautiful scenic countryside for horseback trail rides, breakfast rides and campouts.
