Just a short 40 minute drive from Sydney's CBD , Sweeney's Scenic Hills Riding Ranch is like stepping back in time 100 years.
The Riding School opened in 1979 with only a handful of horses, once operating from where Sweeney's is now located before moving up the hill to the old dairy. Scenic Hills now employs approximately 25 casual staff and has about 80 riding school horses.

We offer 1 hour trail rides for everyone 8 years and over, with half hour lead pony rides for the under 8's (Bookings are required for all trail rides). Also available: Sunday Breakfast Ride, Own a Horse for a Day program, Overnight campouts and Lessons.
Scenic Hills Riding Ranch - Agistment
Scenic Hills provides agistment to people from all over the Sydney area. Our facilities include: sheltered areas, picnic tables, BBQ facilities, horse wash bays, sand arena, round yard, farriers and a few stables.
Agistment horses are fed everyday and are rounded up on Saturday mornings and brought into closer yards. On Sunday the herd is split into two herds again, mid-weekers and weekenders. Owners have use of the facilities 7 days a week during daylight hours (until 7pm during daylight savings).
